Two individuals are now facing charges related to a luggage theft where a suspected capsaicin spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and charges for deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage stolen after exiting a car park lift, police said.

A toddler was one of the people hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – described by police as was isolated and not considered a terror-related act – resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
