The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for significant tournament

The rising star boasts impressive online audience

The young golfer can count on plenty of high-profile supporters as she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, possesses numerous international courses and frequently plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"My grandpa basically advised me to play and enjoy myself," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."

As an amateur, Kai has competed in only three events recently and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

But she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He stands as the best player in the world," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive person. He advised me to compete, relax, and go with the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, including world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Officials stated that Kai's presence brings the sport to wider groups, specifically with youth audiences.

The young star has substantial online presence and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living company.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
