'Living a Nightmare': Relatives of Missing Teens Desperately Seek Information After Alpine Inferno

The families of teenagers unaccounted for after a deadly inferno at a bar in a Switzerland's ski resort are facing an agonising period of uncertainty for confirmed information and appealing for information about their loved ones online.

The fire ripped through the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Circulated images show the roof structure being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are held aloft.

Authorities have stated that it could take considerable time to identify the fatalities of the fire, which claimed the lives of four dozen individuals and hurt another 119. Officials stated on the latest update that 113 of the those hurt have been identified, with efforts continuing to locate the final individuals.

In the interim, families and friends have been taking to the internet to request clues about their friends who were present at the venue that fateful night.

Heartbreaking Pleas for the Unaccounted For

The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are not yet determined, according to an heartfelt request from his parent.

"It feels like a terrible dream, a horror. The options are finding my son in the hospital mortuary, or I find him in critical condition. It's horrific," she stated.

She explained that some of his companions had been found with injuries covering nearly half their bodies. "It's indescribable; they experienced hell."

The Italy's government has indicated that six of its nationals are still unaccounted for.

Junior golfer Emanuele Galeppini, 16, was last heard from around the turn of the new year on New Year's Eve, according to.

Included in that group is Emanuele Galeppini, a 16-year-old promising athlete, originally from Genoa but now residing in Dubai.

The national sporting body has released a tribute that he is dead, without mentioning the fire, honoring a "talented young man who carried with him dedication and authentic values."

His parent, is quoted as saying that his son was at the bar and was last in contact around midnight. An official spokesperson has clarified that a official announcement of his death is still pending.

Further Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is also among the missing. His parent explained that he had been on vacation but had gone out with a group and found himself at the bar.

"Someone with him informed me they fled after the fire started and that he had his mobile with him, but then at a certain point he they were separated," she explained, adding he had been wearing a distinctive gold chain.

One of his teachers commented, "I remember his kindness and positive demeanor, coupled with great responsibility. Often ask if help out."

Alice Kallergis, who holds both Greek and Swiss nationality but lives full-time in the country, was also present on New Year's Eve, according to sources.

Her sibling has published an urgent request online, saying the family has had "no information" regarding the teenager or the three friends she was with, who are also reported missing.

Consular authorities from her country of origin say they are continuing to monitor the situation.
